Steve Trout, Founder
As the captain of our crew, Steve Trout built his business from the bottom up in Jessup, Maryland in the 1980’s. From his modest startup to his cutting-edge facility, Steve is always ahead of the curve. Although he’s working his way out of the industry, he’s still keeping it in the family. His son will serve as his successor, using the hands-on management style that Steve exemplifies, Trout’s Supreme Seafood will continue as one of the best seafood wholesalers in the region.
Devin Trout, President
Devin has spent his youth working at Trout’s every summer for as long as he can remember. He joined the crew full-time in 2006. In June of 2018 Devin became President of Trout Supreme Seafood and has continued to grow the company with new ventures.
Kevin Driscoll, Vice President
As our Vice President, Kevin wears many hats and has the know-how to bring quality service to every order. He’s been part of our crew since 1996 and started his career here because of his IT knowledge and capabilities. Kevin has been with the company for over 20 years and is a valued member and partner at Trout Supreme Seafood.
Collin Bowersox, SQF Manager:
Collin has been working for Trout’s Supreme Seafood since he was in High school. He has been a part of the team for over 7 years now. Graduated from Salisbury University in May of 2019 and was back at Supreme Seafood Full-time 2 days after receiving his diploma. Collin is a great asset to our company and we look forward to watching him grow with our SQF program and new manufactured product lines.
Todd Weddle, Warehouse Manager/Shipping & Receiving:
Todd Weddle has been with Supreme Seafood for over 20 years. He is a very knowledgeable manager and knows the seafood business very well. Todd brings great energy and a positive attitude to the shipping and receiving department.
Rachel Rabat, Research & Development/Production Supervisor:
Rachel started with us in June 2019 as a Part time employee helping us to complete our first order for our newly developed manufactured seafood frozen line. We took notice of Rachel’s great ability to develop recipes and problem solving abilities with production aspects. Rachel has been in the Organic food industry for over 10 years and has a degree in culinary arts from L’Academie De Cuisine. She is now employed with us Full time and has been a great addition to our team.
Phil Nehring, Inside Sales/Fresh and Frozen Seafood Buyer:
Phil Nehring started his career over 4 decades ago in sunny Santa Barbara California. He owned his own Abalone boat, and thrived in that industry for years selling Abalone up and down the coast of California. Phil left California for the greater Baltimore area in the 80’s to start a new career in the Wholesale Seafood industry. Phil brings great knowledge and good energy to our company.
Roma Campanaro, Research & Development/Sales Rep:
Roma has been in the food industry for 30 plus years, she came to supreme seafood with a wealth of knowledge in recipe development and in manufactured products. Roma was a partner in “The Crab Ladies” which was a woman owned Crab cake manufacturer of gluten free crab cakes. After her departure from the crab ladies she has kept working in the Organic food industry and became a member of the team in January 2019. She has been a strong asset since her arrival and we look forward to her continued sales presence as well as her great R & D work.
